Want a FREE Ipod? No Credit Card needed!!!!!!!

Here's How to get an Ipod, free:   YOU MUST USE INTERNET EXPLORER.

1.) Go here and sign up for the program. It may be a good idea to set up an extra email address and use it to sign up, so there isn't a chance of your current email address getting full of spam. You will be required to verify your email address before the iPod is sent to you, so make sure it is a real address.

2.) After you sign up, complete one of the offers. Pick one that gives you a free trial, such as AOL or Ancestry.com. These offers do require a credit card, but as long as you cancel within the 45-day AOL trial or the 14-day Ancestry trial, you won't be charged and nothing will show up on the credit card statement, making it okay to "borrow" your parents' credit card if you don't have one.
Edit: Important!!! A credit card is no longer needed to signup for a offer. The Ebay offer doesn't requirer a credit card! It only requires that you use your email address provided by your ISP. Then with your ebay account, place a bid, you don't have to win! Then you will be credited. LOOK below at the FAQ for more E-bay help!

Edit: If you don't want to use your real ISP email address use this site . It will provide you with an email address easy.

3.) After you sign up, don't cancel you trial offer right away. You have to make sure you get credit for the offer. You can check to see if you have received credit for an offer by going to the "Check Status" page of your account. Usually AOL takes 1-3 days, while Ancestry* and Nexiderm gives you credit immediately, which is why I recommend these 2  over any other offer. Plus, they are easier to cancel- the service reps don't hassle you to stay

4.) After you have successfully completed an offer, it's time to get 5 people to sign up under your name and complete one offer. Friends, family, co-workers, ANYONE is eligible to sign up.

5.) After you and 5 others have completed one offer, you chose which style and color of iPod you want, enter your shipping information, and it will be shipped to you free of charge, with a full 1-year warranty from Apple.

Number to cancel ancestry.com: 1 800 262 3787   (ex: 4)
Number to cancel AOL:  1-800-827-6364

THE PROOF!!  Picture 1.     Picture 2.     Picture 3.

*Ancestry.com seems to come and go as an offer.  I suggest AOL and Nexiderm as substitutes!

If you are STILL skeptical, you can look at an order that Gratis Internet placed with eCost.com, entering S0700892 as the order number and 20001 as the zip code.

Background:

The company behind this deal is Gratis Internet, and they confirm that this is real. Their reason to do this is that they make a decent amount of profit from people who do not complete their offer with the 5 referrals, but they lose some money from people who do complete it, but in the end they still make profit. Basically, Engadget has looked into this and this isn't one of the eBay scams. It is not like there isn't a catch, we are all doing them a big favor generating all these referrals. Many people from many different forums have successfully completed this offer (look around) and this guy also made a webpage about it.

If they end up canceling this, then it'll become an issue. But you have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain. Even if you don't like the iPod (even the new one), sell it on eBay or to your friend and make some cash for something else.

FAQ:

  1. Q: My eBay offers are taking FOREVER to complete! Is there anything I can do?
A: Here's a method that has shown some promise: Send an email to offers@gratisinternet.com with the subject: "Offers problem". In there, say you bid but havent been credited. Copy and paste your ebay registration email in the body of the message. This has been reported to give eBay offer credit is as little as 10 minutes!
  2. Q: If I already have an eBay account, can I still complete the eBay offer?
A: Yes, if you create another account. eBay Terms of Service allow multiple accounts per person. There is nothing in the TOS at FreeiPods.com that says you cannot do it. When you do sign up for eBay, be sure to use a free email service. If you try to create an eBay account with a free webmail provider such as Hotmail or Yahoo, you will have to give them a credit card number for verification.
EBAY AND AOL WALKTHROUGH:
Here's where you can make a choice on what's best for you. The eBay deal seems to be the easiest to deal with, especially if you don't already have an eBay account. All you have to do is go through the Offer link [in Internet Explorer], sign up for eBay and bid on something. Since it doesn't matter if you win, you can easily pick something that you're sure to be high bidder, but outbid on. Otherwise, you can choose AOL as the second easiest, though it requires a little more hassle because you need to cancel it over the phone later.

Step 1 (AOL): Get the AOL signup ball rolling
This one's pretty simple. Just click the 'AOLŪ 9.0 with MusicNet' (or broadband) link. If everything is good, the popup (like shown) will, eh, pop... up... and the main browser window will be shuttled off to the AOL Free Trial signup.

When you're here, fill in your information. It's probably a good idea to use real information. Once you're done, go ahead and click the 'Continue' button.

Step 2 (AOL): More signup at AOL
Make a new username. Set up your password. Click the 'Continue' button.

This is just your typical Congrats screen. Make sure you click the 'I Agree' button from here.

Step 3 (AOL): AOL signup.
This is where it asks for your credit card information. Go ahead and sign up with your card if you're confident you'll be able to cancel the AOL account before the free trial expires. The no-cc method seems not to work anymore so be sure to use a valid form of payment and cancel as soon as your status is confirmed on freeiPods.com.

Once you see this box with an... interesting shade of yellow, you've completed your signup. Now you just wait a couple days. When things have been confirmed (it's a good idea to check with your referrer too, if possible), cancel AOL through this number: 1-800-827-6364. If you've signed up through a referral, give yourself a hand for helping out your referrer (I thank you huge if the referrer was me!). Now, make sure your referrals know how it works!

Step 1 (eBay): Sign up at eBay
First, click the link at at freeiPods.com Complete Offer page that simply says 'eBay'. If everything is working correctly, a popup like shown will appear and a new browser window will open up to eBay's register/login screen.

Once there, click the button marked 'Register >'.

The next screen is all personal information. If you dont want to use a credit card, it's important that you use a "paid for" email address. This means the email account with your ISP, or a domain you own, etc. Using common free web mail addresses will require you to verify yourself through a credit card.

Now, once you've completed this screen, you'll need to agree to eBay's Terms of Service. Beyond that is email confirmation. This is also why it's imperative that you use a valid email address to save yourself a lot of hassle at this stage. Even after credit card verification, eBay will occasionally not be able to send email to free email services.

[More detailed guide being written. Please be patient. A little more information added, though.]

The general concept, is to find new auctions with few bids and several days left. Place your own bid as low as you can so that you're still high bidder for long enough for it to 'count'. The general idea is that if you receive a high-bidder confirmation email, then it counts (and you have proof to show Gratis should you not get credit for your bid at freeiPods.com). Make sure that you get the confirmation email notifying that you're the highest bidder. Instant proxy outbids and bids on auctions with reserves aren't as sure-fire as actually being highest bidder on a standard auction for a little while.
